Visa-Free Options
144-Hour Visa-Free Transit
If you're transiting through Beijing to a third country, you may qualify for 144-hour (6-day) visa-free entry. Requirements:
- Hold a valid passport from one of 54 eligible countries (US included)
- Have a confirmed onward ticket to a third country/region within 144 hours
- Enter and exit through designated ports in Beijing
- Stay within the permitted area (Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei province)

China's New Visa-Free Policy (2024-2026)
China has expanded visa-free entry for several countries. Check the latest policies at your nearest Chinese embassy, as these rules change frequently.

Required Documents
- Passport โ Valid for 6+ months with 2+ blank pages
- Visa application form โ Completed online at cvasc.com
- Passport photo โ Recent, white background, 33mm x 48mm
- Flight itinerary โ Round-trip booking confirmation
- Hotel reservation โ For the duration of your stay
- Invitation letter โ From a Chinese tour company or hotel (we can provide this!)
Application Process
- Complete the online application at the Chinese Visa Application Service Center
- Schedule an appointment at your nearest CVASC office
- Submit documents and biometrics in person
- Wait 4-7 business days for processing
- Pick up your passport with visa or have it mailed
